Description
Gamma phase wire electrodes with 500 or 900 N/mm²
Our gamma-phase wire electrodes differ from other coated products in the composition of the wire surface: unlike zinc-coated wire electrodes, Gamma Brass have an “alloy” with a higher zinc than copper content which is applied to brass core wires by diffusion annealing.
This results in very good stock removal properties for different applications ! Gamma Brass is reliable in operation and have a high cutting performance potential with very good surfaces.
We will be happy to inform you personally about details of which wire is intended for which machine.
Core material: CuZn 35/65
Cover material: CuZn with increased Zn content
Advantages of high-performance wire:
- Very good abrasion resistance
- High process reliability
- Up to 50 % higher cutting speeds compared to bare wire
- Flawless automatic threading
